Corsair HydroCool 200 EX Review
Written by Justin B. | Date: 1.31.2004 | Manufacturer: Corsair
Corsair isn't normally a name you'd connect with "CPU cooling", but rather with memory. Their XMS and TwinX series memory packs have become nearly a household name among overclocking enthusiasts, but they're definitely not as well known for their cooling products; also a necessary part of an overclocker's rig.

Watercooling is slowly becoming more and more popular than it was years ago, due to much easier installation/assembly, and the increasing heat output of CPUs demands more than air-cooling can deliver, especially under heavy heat loads. Today we're going to review Corsair's watercooling system-- the HydroCool 200 EX. Corsair isn't kidding around with this system-- it was co-developed with the geniuses at Delphi Automotive (and let's face it, car guys know a LOT about dealing with high heat output, a car puts out infinitely more heat than any computer), and it has an aggressive-looking external design. We'll see if Corsair's dominance in the memory market shows through in the CPU cooling industry. Can it handle the heat or not? That's what you'll have to read on to find out.
