Albatron KX600S Pro Review
Written by Justin B. | Date: 2.09.2004 | Manufacturer: Albatron
With the introduction of the Athlon 64 platform, and the previous dominance of the Pentium 4 w/800Mhz FSB, the Athlon XP platform has been down, but isn't quite out. It still provides one of the best budget platforms money can buy, with Barton CPUs ringing in at about $80, and plenty of inexpensive and high-speed motherboards to accompany it.

Today we'll be evaluating one of these options, called the Albatron KX600S Pro. It's based on the VIA KT600 chipset, and despite its single-channel memory, the KT600 promises to do very well against the nForce2 at a lower price point. We'll be testing this KT600 based board against its nForce2 competition by Epox (that's just for you, liquidsoul ), and also going in-depth with the board itself to show you what it offers you, the customer, for your money. Have a look at the second page for more info.
