As you may or may not be aware, all the hype in the video card world right now is centered around the GeForce 6800 Ultra-- the 16-pipeline, dual power connector, $500 computer game monster. While that card is one that anyone would love to own, NVIDIA is still doing other great things in the mid-range video market.

Today we're going to look at Albatron's FX5900XTV, which is a 128MB video card based on the GeForceFX 5900XT chipset. Contrary to ATI's naming scheme, in NVIDIA, XT denotes a slower-clocked card.
