Perhaps aside from hearing Ed McMahon at my door saying, "Congratulations on winning our $20 million grand prize", nothing makes my ears light up more than a great sound system. As much as I wish it were possible, blasting speakers at max volume is just not possible all the time when you've got parents, neighbors, pets, etc to keep in mind. And with that revelation, man invented headphones!
A few months ago we took a look at Zalman's Theatre 6 headphones. It's among our most-read articles, with close to 8,000 people reading that review. Today we're going to show you another set of surround headphones, this time by SunnyTech called the "Mentor 5.1 headphones". Most of you have probably never heard of SunnyTech, and they are certainly not within the headphone ranks where Sony, Sennheiser, Grado, and Beyer are. While Matt has the Zalman Theatre 6s and I don't have them available for testing, I'll be evaluating these headphones on their own merits and I'll see if they can hold their own.
