Logitech diNovo Review
Written by Andrew Kalionzes | Date: 1.22.2004 | Manufacturer: Logitech
Keyboard
The keyboard in the diNovo is by far the best I've ever used. One of the first things I noticed was how thin this keyboard is. Its roughly 2/3 as thick as a dime is in diameter. Logitech calls this their "ultra-flat zero degree tilt design".

The home key visits your browser's home page. The Media key launches the multimedia app of your choice, and the Sleep key puts your computer in Sleep mode.

In the same position but on the right side are the volume controls as well as the mute key.

Lastly, on the bottom right is a neat little addition; Logitech has added their "media" key which allows you to access your music, documents, videos, and photographs with the touch of a button. If you don't like the default function, you can make the media key access just about anything you want through the enclosed software. Next to the media key is a round pad for forward, reverse, stop, and play... all very useful when using the media functions. The keyboard itself takes four AA batteries which are kindly supplied by Logitech.

To the right of the keyboard is the media pad. The media pad is not only your standard ten key as seen on other keyboards, but it also functions as a Bluetooth remote media center. Like the media key on the keyboard, you can access your music, video clips, photos, and much more. It also has an LCD display which defaults as a clock, but it can also show what music track you're listening to, or even be used as a calculator. In addition to those features, you can have it programmed to receive e-mail and instant message notifications through the display.
