Logitech diNovo Review

Bluetooth Hub
The Bluetooth hub/mouse charging cradle is what lets the keyboard, mouse, and media pad communicate with the computer. It has both PS2 and USB functionality and has an additional connector integrated into the USB connector to power the cradle when the mouse is recharging. The hub is very sleek and has a nice blue light in the front which shows that Bluetooth hub is connected and powered.

The 'connect' button on the front of the hub is used to connect the wireless Bluetooth devices. You simply hit the button then the button on the Bluetooth device and they synchronize. The Bluetooth hub also allows you to synchronize your Bluetooth enabled PDA or cell phone to the PC, allowing you to message, share files, and manage your phone book.

Mouse
The mouse itself is a Logitech MX900 Bluetooth mouse. This mouse is powered by the Logitech MX Optical Engine which allows for much higher resolution and frame rates needed for today's games and graphics applications. The left side of the mouse contains two buttons for navigating forward and backward when viewing web pages.

On top are the two standard mouse buttons, a scroll wheel which serves as a third button, two cruise buttons for scrolling through documents and web pages and a quick switch program select button for jumping between applications. For the most part, this mouse is almost identical to the MX700 except for the color change and Bluetooth connectivity which is much more reliable and secure. Initial charging of the mouse takes about two hours and since its Bluetooth, battery life isn't as long as it would be on other wireless setups like the MX Duo, but being a person who just upgraded from the MX Duo… its well worth it. And best of all, Logitech supplies the two rechargeable batteries for the mouse.
