CoolMax Taurus Series Silent Power Supply Reviews

Here is the reason why the PSU is nearly silent, an adjustable 120mm fan which keeps the PSU quite cool.

Here is a shot of the back of the PSU. There is no fan mounted in the back, making the single 120mm fan the only fan providing cooling for the unit. By doing this, CoolMax is able to keep the noise level of the PSU down. On the rear is a power switch, a switch to choose between 115 and 230 volts, and another switch to choose fan speed. There are three choices for fan speed: High, Low, and Auto. For testing purposes, I will leave the switch in the Auto position.

In this shot you can see the reflective qualities in the black finish of this unit. The black finish is very nice looking.

Here is where my first complaint comes in, the 12v rail is a bit weak. I would prefer to see a stronger 12v line. Other than the 12v line, the rest look pretty good.
